It is summertime and time to find something for the children…who ya gonna call? http://www.forhiskidz.com/ ! Based out of Zelienople, Pennsylvania, this ministry’s goal is to put you in touch with the best ministries for children. The ministries they connect you with have a central theme: a desire to minister to children and families the joy of knowing Christ. 

This goal is accomplished many different ways. As you visit their site, you’ll find a yellow bar down the left side. This bar contains links to different facets of their ministries. First you may click on a list to find out what ministries are represented by For His Kidz. It includes national ministries that will travel to your area as well as a link to a variety of regional ministries. 

To help you minister right where you are, there is also a link for workshop and seminars. The goal is to teach you or your ministry how to minister the joy of Christ in your own area. Many different speakers are listed with their areas of expertise and experience as well as contact information. 

Event calendars are contained on the site to find easily what is going on in your area. Calendars are listed by state so that you can search where you are, or where you plan to be. The events list different entertainers scheduled to perform as well as evangelists coming to the area. The list I observed on June 6 had last been updated on May 31 which indicates the list of events is recent and is maintained.

You’ll find a great deal of inspiration in knowing that there are so many things out there for the children, to find that there is help for us grown-ups in learning how to connect with the children and teach them the joy of our Lord!!
